How to use this template
- Fill in the brackets: Replace [Your Full Name], [Date], etc. with your actual details.
- Keep it simple: You do not need to give a reason (unless you are moving or injured). "I am canceling" is enough.
- Send it properly: Email is okay for a first step, but Certified Mail is the gold standard if they ignore you.
Why this works
This letter puts the gym on notice. By explicitly asking for "written confirmation," you create a paper trail. If they charge you later, you can show this letter to your bank to win a dispute.
